Discovering Tianhao Estate: A New Chapter in Our Yunnan Journey

This year marks my third consecutive trip to Pu’er in search of remarkable coffees — and I feel incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with Tianhao Estate. It turns out that the beautiful Purple Caturra beans I’ve enjoyed in the past all came from this very farm.

What makes Tianhao Estate even more special is the story behind it. The owners, a retired couple, devoted themselves to coffee after retirement, starting their journey back in 2006. Nearly two decades later, they’ve built not just a farm, but a thriving community.

Today, Tianhao Estate directly manages over 500 farming households and works with more than 2,000 villagers, while also providing 200+ jobs through their company. The social impact is profound — a real example of how coffee can change lives.

Nestled in Lancang County, Pu’er at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 2,050 meters, the estate is now fully dedicated to specialty coffee, constantly improving quality — a vision perfectly aligned with ours.

I still remember sipping several outstanding coffees in their beautiful estate during my visit. And this season, for the very first time, we’re adding Purple Caturra — alongside Catimor — to our coffee menu. The response so far? Pure love from our customers.
